Follow these directions to install MP3 support on your computer.

1. At right, Left-click on the "x86-Win32" link in the "libmp3lame" section. Even if you run 64-bit Windows, click on the first file.
2. Select "Download" or "Save file".
3. If a color bar appears at the top of your browser window, click it and then click the drop down menu "Download file...".
4. Choose a location to store it on your computer, and click the "Save" button.
5. When download is done, click the "Open Folder" button
6. Unzip the "libmp3lame.zip" file.
7. Extract or copy only the "libmp3lame.dll" file to your "C:\Windows\System" directory if you have Windows 8, 7 or Vista. If you have Windows Xp, then Extract it to the "C:\Windows\System32" directory.
8. At right, Left-click on the "Download" link under the "lame_enc.dll" section (second section on the page).
9. Select "Download" or "Save file".
10. If a color bar appears at the top of your browser window, click it and then click the drop down menu "Download file...".
11. Choose a location to store it on your computer, and click the "Save" button.
12. When download is done, click the "Open Folder" button
13. Unzip the "lamedll_MOD3.99.5.zip" file (the file version may change).
14. Extract or copy the "lame_enc.dll" and "lame_enc.ini" file's to your "C:\Windows\System" directory if you have Windows 8, 7 or Vista. If you have Windows Xp, then Extract them to the "C:\Windows\System32" directory.
15. Click here if System is missing
16. Your computer now has MP3 support.

If your System folder is hidden:

1. Click the Start Menu
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Appearance and Personalization
4. Click Folder Options
5. Click the View Tab
6. Find Show Hidden Files and Folders, click to activate it
7. Uncheck the next two lines below and answer YES to warning message
8. At the bottom click Apply
9. Click OK and again OK on first window
10. Find C:\Windows and click "+"
11. Scroll down to System and copy libmp3lame.dll, lame_enc.dll and the lame_enc.ini files into it
