Decades of Fulfilling Dreams

Incredible as it sounds... we enjoy pleasing our customers. They told us their wants... and we exceeded their dreams! Just read a few examples over the decades to see how we changed their lives and made work enjoyable. We love it... and so will you!

Tim R., Ohio, USA
I have been using Hoster since the beginning. I had purchased back when it was $500. It was turn-key then and now you guys are definetely out on top. I have had to help people with hosting karaoke. I always get questions about how do you do this and how do you do that and now it's easy. Hoster Video. I love the scrolling marquee. Advertising is the clubs major priorities and when you can show up with a scrolling marquee while the people are reading the lyrics you just bought them thousands of dollars worth of advertising.
I just upgraded my Hoster to 4.09d. I haven't had any problems with my previous version and I was so used to it why bother. Then a guy asked me to show him around Hoster and he had the new 4.0 version. I loved it. I couldn't give him too many answers until I played around with it for an hour or so. That's all it took. I didn't even read the instructions. Now I can show him all the cool stuff. Why would someone even bother with cds anymore. Great job MTU! I had to send you this email because I feel that your deserve praise for making my and many others lives easier! By the way...I love the singer database. That's huge! Again, great job!

I've been using Vogone, KHPro, and Microstudio for almost a year now because my friends and I wanted to sing Flogging Molly/Dropkick Murphies for Karaoke and nothing was available. I now have created over 20 tracks from these 2 artists, plus a few others, and even two original compositions. Our Karaoke host allows us to sing (but no one else). It's been alot of fun, and I've gotten so much value for my money. It's easy and accurate and I'll continue using your product for as long as you make them. Thank you so much!
Doug D., United Kingdom, Professional Singer
I THOUGHT I WOULD SEND YOU THIS E-MAIL, PLEASE EXCUSE THE CAPITALS, AS I'M A SINGER NOT A TYPIST. JUST TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I HAVE VOGONE 1 AND 2, AND USE THEM ALL THE TIME MORE OR LESS DAILY. I ALSO HAVE AND USE ON A VERY REGULAR BASIS, KARAOKE PRO, AND MICROSTUDIO. I NOW WONDER HOW I EVER MANAGED BEFORE! I HAVE SEVERAL OTHER PROGRAMMES FROM OTHER SOURCES IN THE USA, BUT NONE WORK A WELL AS YOURS. SURE THERE ARE SMALL BUGS, BUT NOTHING TO EVEN THINK ABOUT. PLEASE LET ALL YOUR CLIENTS AND OTHERS KNOW THAT THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL TESTIMONIAL AS I NEVER WRITE LETTERS IF I CAN HELP IT, BUT YOUR PROGRAMMES ARE REALLY WORTH IT.

I've been spending a lot of time with the new Plextor 2410 drive and Karaoke Suite 4 software purchased a couple of weeks ago. Once I was comfortable with the back-up and custom CDG's I made I started with the truly fun stuff. I re-did some graphics on purchased discs that were very "dirty" on-screen and now have "as-new" copies. Karaoke Home Producer is great. VOGONE 1 does a nice job and Keyrite is fantastic. Everything so far has been easy to understand, easy to use, and just great fun. How cool it is to master an older song into a professional-looking karaoke disc when among my many karaoke-junkie friends. Best $500 I ever spent. Good work, MTU.
Kelli F., Professional Musician-Singer
I think that MTU is one of the best companies in the Karaoke business today. I am impressed with the quality of all their products and to their commitment to making them the very best they can be. I also congratulate them on the creativity they show both in producing new products and in improving the products they already produce. MTU is always interested in their customer's comments and opinions and really take them seriously. The company is run with the highest integrity, honesty, and fairness to customers, testers, and suppliers. I cannot say enough good things about them. I am always proud and glad to introduce someone new to MTU.
Armin Steiner, Music Master, Inc., LaQuinta, CA
When I decided to leave 20th Century Fox as their Chief Scoring Mixer and Director of Recording Services last year, I wanted to develop new clientele by offering turnkey services, including direct-to-disk recording, editing and mastering. Although there are many workstations available, MTU had the answers to my greatest concerns: track limitations, high-tech system headaches, and compromises in quality. Microsound is the only one that actually allows you to place up to 256 stereo segments at any one point, retain their individual edit flexibility, and have them all play simultaneously!
I've always believed that if you let the music be your guide, the song will come out great. Microsound never gets in the way. The user-interface performs exactly how I compose, record and edit music ... giving me much more creative freedom than I ever could have imagined! Best of all, MTU's Microsound is one of the best sounding musical devices that I've had the privilege to hear ... and that's what it's all about anyway! Note: MTU is truly honored to have Armin Steiner comment on Microsound. He was a child prodigy virtuoso Violinist. His ears are classed "Diamond" by others with "Golden" ears. The great Hollywood conductor, John Williams frequently asks Armin to do his mixes, and Dolly Parton is one of his admirers.

We have been using MTU editing systems since their DOS days in the 1980s. Dave Cox, President of MTU has been designing digital audio editing systems longer than anyone I know, and is one of the real gentlemen in pro audio. MTU may not have the wide-ranging functionality of a Sonic Solutions or SADiE system, but sonically MTU is simply unsurpassed. We use them for classical music editing and mastering, and have for over a decade. MTU is a world class digital audio editing system.
Marvin Sanders, "More for Windows - Turnkey Multitrack Systems", Keyboard Magazine 03/97 Issue
MTU has been making hard disk recorders since 1979 - longer than any of the nine companies we've looked at over the past couple of months.
Mark Karaman, In Motion Magazine
You've heard the words revolutionary, paradigm shift and unique ascribed to products; well in this case they all apply. It is rare to find a product like MTU's Microsound that does not settle for a strained compromise between old ways and new. Digital audio workstations are not all alike. There are less costly temptations, like inexpensive but noisy chip sets... but MTU has taken the high road in each of the three major elements of DAWs: digital logic, analog circuitry, and software, and they've been doing it longer than anyone else, since 1977.
Bob Vermeulen, Producer for Words of Hope, Grand Rapids, MI
I researched the digital workstation market for nearly two years before buying the MTU Microsound Workstation. I considered every product out there under $30,000. I even had the popular Mac based version in my studio for a month. I kept thinking that what I was reading about MTU and Microsound was just too good to be true, especially for what it cost. Well Dave, it has been everything that you said it would be and it only cost a third of what I might have expected. This product will turn audio editing upside down. Keep up the good work.
Charles Lawson, WETA Public Radio, Washington, DC
I have had the opportunity to use many digital audio workstations over the past years. My hands-on experience has led me to select the Microsound workstation as my tool of choice. Microsound is the easiest to learn, offers the most flexibility in producing highly complicated, multi-layered pieces, and is the most stable and consistently reliable system I have ever used. There is NOTHING else in its class! Your products truly lighten the burdens of my life and make me happy to go to work! For me, Microsound has become as essential as microwave ovens and indoor plumbing. I don't know that I could come up with any higher praise for what you do. WETA now has 4 Microsound workstations for their new all digital facilities built in 1999.
Tom Dooley, Mastermedia, Hurst, TX
MasterMedia's clients include LucasFilms, GE, Billy Graham, Disney & Universal Studios. Needless to say, our product has to be the very best. I believe Microsound is, by far, the most well-thought out, powerful, easy-to-use and durable audio workstation out there. No matter what I put in, it comes out ... noticeably superior to our best analog masters. I had seen and played with high-priced units and felt overwhelmed and intimidated by their complex operation. I am simply too busy for a time-consuming long learning curve. I needed a space-age machine that thought like me. Microsound made it so a computer-illiterate user like me can produce on it the same day out of the box. Microsound has made major-league audio production way too easy and fun.
Jim Smith, Muddy Hole Studios, Martinsburg, WV
Every DAW has it's own set of habits and logical requirements. When I went from my old DAW to Microsound, even though I was immediately faster, it took me a while to drop old habits; ranging from paranoia of losing files to what mouse clicks now do. As I slowly forgot how to use the other system, I started realizing how completely uncluttered and flexible Microeditor is. It doesn't work like a tape recorder, or some other DAW or piece of gear. It shouldn't, it should work BETTER which means that it has to be different! The open-ended simplicity of how Microeditor works is really changing the way I think about and do my work. Jim was the Technical Supervisor over 40 producers at National Public Radio in DC for 7 years, now with Black Entertainment TV (BET) in 1997.
Fred Story, Fred Story Productions, Charlotte, NC
Generally, our clients are savvy producers and directors who've worked at some of the best shops in the country, on some of the most visible "high end" digital audio workstations. One thing we've become accustomed to hearing is, "How did you do that so fast?", or "I've never had an audio session go so smoothly." And while I humbly believe we have a crack team of audio animals, I must give a large portion of the credit to Microsound. In fact, at the risk of patting myself on the back, I feel that choosing MTU's Microsound is one of the best decisions I've made as a studio owner.
